Traveling with Camera Equipment

As summer rolls around, more and more people are going on trips and some of those people include photographers. Traveling with a camera and camera equipment can be stressful. Cameras and camera equipment can cost thousands of dollars and if it’s damaged or lost, you not only have to replace or repair the equipment, which can get expensive, you also don’t have it with you for vacation. In this list, I have some of the items I use to make traveling with a camera a little less stress inducing.

Camera Bag

This travel bag from amazon is great for any traveling photographer. The bag includes storage space for multiple camera bodies and lenses, a place to store your tripod and a laptop sleeve. This bag is great for traveling as it can be a carry on and you can use it everyday as a bag. The bag is also anti-theft, great for keeping your equipment safe and protected. Add in the fact that it is waterproof and you have everything you could need in a bag!

Cord Case

Next item on the list is a cord case. This is great for photographers and non-photographers, as everyone hates having a bunch of cords get tangled and knotted in their bags. With this case, you can store charging cords, connecting cords and SD cards all in one place. There is also another storage compartment on the bottom that can store your extra batteries, hard drives, AirPods and your universal outlet adapter.

Tripod

And last is a tripod. This way, you can travel the world by yourself and still have pictures of yourself to post and show your friends. This tripod is lightweight and can support a camera and also has an adapter for your phone. It comes in a case so it doesn’t snag on anything or get damaged. With this you can take all the long exposures of the sunset while enjoying a glass of wine in the European countryside.
